DEscriptIonThis is a 28 head indexing turret machine fitted with an glass rod feeder automatic flare feeder, automatic lead wire feeder and automatic exhaust tube feeder.In case of a miss fed rod, the other components will not be loaded. This eliminates wastage of materials. The heating for sealing is provided by a burner using a mixture of air, gas and oxygen. The air, gas and oxygen supplies are connected to manifolds fitted on the frame of the machine and distributed through mixer valves to the burners so that the flame can be correctly adjusted. The pinch is made by automatic pinch mechanisms. A hole for exhaust is blown through the pinch area. The completed stems are automatically unloaded to an annealing plate.STATION LAYOUT1.
